A glimpse into the nights we’ve shared with brands and creative communities to design immersive experiences, curated showcases, and meaningful industry moments.
For those who don’t know, KARAT is one of Bali’s coolest multi-brand spaces, where menswear, artisan crafts, and thoughtfully curated home goods sit side by side. A space built on taste and intention. So when they invited us to take over the kitchen and bar, it just made sense.
We brought a little bit of Moon energy into their world with an Asian and Nusantara-inspired twist. For the night, we introduced two special creations:
S-Tea — light, refreshing, easy to sip. Tape Injin — nostalgic, sweet, and a little unexpected.
And of course, we couldn’t leave out our signatures: The Golden Hour and Love & Heat — familiar favorites for those who’ve been sipping with us for a while.
Our sister brand, Flock, took over the kitchen. Same theme, same spirit. They served up Rendang Noods — rich, comforting, full of spice — alongside Flock’s signature Urutan.
Good drinks. Good food. Good people. That’s really what it was about. Big love to KARAT for having us, and to everyone who showed up, stayed, and made the space feel alive.
Inspired by the traditional Balinese wantilan — a communal pavilion at the heart of a village — The Tempayan is designed as a place where people come together and dining. Dining here is never just about food; it’s about atmosphere, ritual, and shared moments.
That’s where Moon came in. We were invited to collaborate on Sensory Soiree, a curated dining experience that blends culinary storytelling, performance, and crafted cocktails. And we’ve been part of the journey since Chapter 1.
Sensory Soiree – Chapter 1
An evening shaped by tradition. Guests dined under the rhythm of Tari Kecak and Fire dance performances, powerful, hypnotic, deeply rooted in Balinese culture. Moon curated cocktails to complement the intensity of the night, designed to match the heat of the flames and the energy of the chants.
Sensory Soiree – Chapter 2
A shift in mood.
An Oriental-inspired transformation of The Tempayan Bird Lounge, adorned with cultural ornaments, lounge seating, and sunset ambiance. This chapter leaned into beats, music, and playful elegance. And again, Moon crafted a cocktail experience designed to elevate the evening — not just drinks served at a bar, but flavors that became part of the storytelling.
Some collaborations are loud.
This one was intimate.
On this chapter, we welcomed Rempah Dining into our home in Ubud. Known for their private dining experiences — thoughtful, refined, and deeply rooted in Indonesian flavors — Rempah doesn’t just serve food. They curate moments around the table.
And for one special evening, our bar became more than just a place for drinks, we opened the doors differently.
We invited Rempah Dining to take over the kitchen, bringing their expertise in crafting elevated dishes, designed to be experienced slowly, course by course. Each plate was intentionally paired with our cocktail creations. Not as an afterthought, but as a dialogue.
The result wasn’t just a dinner, it was a shared table, where flavors
